Most leadership programmes stop at the Executive Team.

That’s understandable. If the Executive Team becomes more aligned, surely the rest of the organisation will follow.

In reality, it rarely works that way.

The Executive Team may leave an offsite with greater clarity, stronger relationships and renewed commitment. But unless that clarity is translated into the next layer of leadership, momentum gradually dissipates. Strategy becomes diluted. Teams interpret priorities differently. Old habits return.

That’s why we created the Team-inar.

The Team-inar isn’t simply a workshop.

What is a team-inarOne principle sits at the heart of the design:
Leader-led. Consultant-supported.

That distinction is important.

Many organisations rely on consultants to communicate strategy and facilitate conversations. While this may create a successful event, it often misses a deeper opportunity. Leadership cannot be outsourced.

Our role is to provide the methodology, structure, tools and facilitation process.
The leaders lead.

This creates an entirely different dynamic.

Instead of listening to external experts, managers hear directly from the leaders they work for every day. The conversations become more authentic, ownership increases and accountability remains where it belongs … with the leadership team.

A Team-inar brings multiple leadership teams together, often over one or two days, to work on the same leadership agenda simultaneously.

  • Each team connects to the Executive Team’s strategic direction before translating it into a practical Team Charter for its own area of responsibility.

  • Along the way, teams develop a shared language around leadership, teamwork and performance while building stronger connections across organisational boundaries.

The impact extends beyond individual teams.

  • As leaders facilitate these conversations together, silos begin to weaken.
  • Functional priorities become aligned with enterprise priorities.
  • Teams gain a clearer understanding of how their work contributes to the wider organisation.
  • Leadership starts to feel more consistent, regardless of where people sit.

Perhaps the most important outcome, however, is not the Team Charter.
It is the growth of the leaders themselves.

Leading a Team-inar requires leaders to communicate clearly, facilitate meaningful discussion, answer difficult questions and translate strategy into practical action.

Leaders become better leadersThat is why the Team-inar sits at the heart of our approach to scaling culture.

Healthy organisations are not built because consultants deliver more workshops. They are built because leaders become increasingly capable of leading their own people.

The Team-inar provides the framework that makes that possible.

  • LeadershipWorks brings the methodology.
  • The leaders bring the leadership.
  • Together, they create the conditions for a healthy organisation to grow.
